Speaker, comedian, and 6-time author Mahlena-Rae Johnson is the Conference Optimizer for introverted CEOs and thought leaders. She teaches luminaries like you how to achieve the ROI you didn’t get from speaking at your last event.
The quirky CEO of her company Mahlena Speaks, Mahlena honed her relationship-building skills while earning her MBA in Marketing at the University of Southern California. She later translated her quiet savvy for connecting with like-minded individuals into expanding her media empire from the US to Canada, where she was a guest lecturer for graduate level classes in Social Media at Seneca Polytechnic.
A Canadienne of Américaine descent, Mahlena is living her best life in the suburbs of Toronto. This megalomaniacal INTJ has been featured on BusinessBecause, CBC Kids, The Global Chatter Podcast, Gratitude Geek, The New to Canada Podcast, and more. She has a passion for writing and speaking about professional development and executive education topics including personal branding, multimedia storytelling, building a new network for immigrants and expats, and writing a ten-second elevator pitch.

Here's more trivia about the illustrious Mahlena-Rae Johnson:
Mahlena grew up on the mean beaches of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. During her senior year of high school, she was named Most Likely to Kidnap a Backstreet Boy, but she is now a member of the BTS ARMY. She also occasionally likes to talk about herself in the third person.
A happy transplant from Los Angeles to the GTA, Mahlena is still learning how to navigate the streets of Downtown Toronto, wondering whether to dress for sleet or sunshine on any given morning, and preparing for inevitable encounters with city moose. Though she is American by birth, in 2023, Mahlena achieved Canadian citizenship in a move she likes to call The Reverse Sandra Oh. 🇨🇦 🇺🇸
